The Saudi Sports Arbitration Center is participating in the Sports Investment Forum (SIF), which will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Investment from April 7 to 9
Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Bassam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center, stated that the Center’s participation in the Sports Investment Forum stems from its pivotal role in promoting a fair and well-regulated sports environment that supports the growth of sports investment in the Kingdom. He noted that, through this participation, the Center aims to highlight the importance of upholding the principles of justice and protecting rights within the sports sector through effective arbitration mechanisms. By resolving sports and sports-related disputes in accordance with international best practices, the Center contributes to enhancing investor confidence and improving the overall efficiency of the sports ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
For his part, Ibrahim Al-Bakri, CEO of the Sports Investment Forum, welcomed the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center’s inclusion among the forum’s participants, emphasizing the significance of this step in supporting the investment climate of Saudi sports. He noted that the Center’s presence in the forum represents a qualitative addition that will help build a more legally sound, reliable, and sustainable sports sector. Sports investment, he explained, relies on clear regulations, robust legislation, and well-governed dispute resolution procedures — all of which the Center provides, thereby fostering a stable and attractive legal environment for investors.
It is worth noting that the Sports Investment Forum is considered the region’s leading event in this domain, bringing together key decision-makers, investors, and sports experts from within the Kingdom and abroad. The forum aims to explore opportunities for developing the sports sector and showcase the latest investment prospects in the field.
